Orlova Stijena sits at an elevation of 586 metres. Hrvatske \u0161ume, the Croatian state enterprise responsible for forest and woodland management, built the eponymous viewpoint at the location. It is a fenced concrete plateau with a concrete table in the middle and concrete benches on the right and the left side by the fence. One of the most stunning views of the Kupa river and a village in the neighbouring Slovenia can be seen from the viewpoint.<\/p>\n
Orlova Stijena can be reached from the direction of Brod Moravice, through the villages of Velike Drage, Male Drage and Razdrto. Having reached the gravel path, follow it for 800 metres to the first crossing, where you will turn left. From there on, take the forest path for another 900 metres to reach the final destination.<\/p>\n\n\n

Starting from the Vrbovsko town centre, take the main Louisiana road toward Hajdine and, at the 1.5-kilometre mark, turn right to the Litori\u0107 outing spot, where you will come across a hunting lodge. A dense forest and thick shade will soon be replaced by the view of the Kupa river and its valley from Orlove Stijene, a viewpoint overlooking some of the most beautiful landscapes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After a break, keep cycling down the route of the Cycling Trail of Gorski Kotar toward Plemenita\u0161, home to summer art workshops, then to Lukovdol, the birthplace of Croatian poet Ivan Goran Kova\u010di\u0107. Do not hesitate to stop by the distillery in nearby Rti\u0107 and have a drink of your choosing from its rich selection of exceptional alcoholic drinks. The route ends in Vrbovsko.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
