The beginning of the 20th century in the village of Li\u010d was marked by the construction of the Vici\u0107eva Ulica road, then the main state road connecting the centre, from what used to be the house of Josa Vici\u0107, to Bukova Kosa located atop of the Li\u010dko Polje field. This road, measuring 13 kilometres in length and 3 to 4 metres in width, cost 17,000 forints to build. A bridge was also built across the Li\u010danka rivulet, allowing for the passing of horse-drawn carriages and people, especially in spring and autumn when Li\u010danka swelled. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The bridge was made from wood and mounted on stone beams, the remnants of which remain visible today. The construction work was carried out by entrepreneur Ivan Maru\u0161i\u0107 from Gri\u017eane, while planning and oversight were left to senior royal forester Slavoljub Tvrdonja from Fu\u017eine. After it was inspected by the royal committee from Zagreb, the road was commissioned for traffic and transport of wood from forests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The starting point is at the centre of Li\u010d, from which the route continues toward Potkobiljak. After about three hundred metres, the trail turns left, taking you across meadows and carriage roads toward the Li\u010dko Polje field. Having passed through Li\u010dko Polje, you will reach the industrial park, which you can freely cross. From there on, you need to turn right and follow a meadow path through the forest, all the way to the Potko\u0161 lake (watch out for the electric shepherd). From the Potko\u0161 lake, the trail passes down an asphalt road to an animal shelter, after which it follows the oil and gas pipeline route to the Forest Fairytale outing spot and back to the starting point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The trail is easy with gently undulating terrain and only one marked ascent by the Potko\u0161 lake. It makes for a comfortable ride surrounded by gorgeous landscapes, especially at dawn or before sunset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
