The Cycling Trail of Gorski Kotar connects all towns of Gorski Kotar with the region\u2019s natural, cultural and historical attractions, as well as culinary spots. The trail takes you along forest and local low-traffic roads and it is designed for nature and mountain biking enthusiasts.<\/p>\n
By taking the trail, you can get to know Gorski Kotar through multiple sections, which makes planning of a multi-day active holiday much easier. The trail consists of seven stages, each ranging from 28 to 43 kilometres in length, and 260 kilometres in total. The cycling trail network of Gorski Kotar includes forty-two route suggestions for different cycling categories: from road to gravel and mountain biking. The trails range from 10 to 50 kilometres in length and have different physical and technical requirements.<\/p>\n
Since the routes are interconnected and form a network which, together with the Cycling Trail of Gorski Kotar, covers the entire Gorski Kotar region, you can create your own ride by combining the suggested routes.
