The circular route from Delnice to the Kupa River can be freely called “royal”, and it is intended for more confident cyclists. From the centre of Delnice, we head slightly uphill in the direction of Drgomalj, the highest peak in the wooded area of the Kupa Valley. Once we reach the highest point of 1130 meters we begin to descend to the Butterfly Valley or the Kupa Valley where you can take a brake and refresh in the longest Croatian river. Continue upstream to the mouth of the Čabranka River and then start climbing towards Razloge from where you can walk to the source of the Kupa River.
After a short climb on a macadam road to Praprot, the rest of this attractive journey is an easy ride on fairly flat terrain.
