Natural attractionsJaplenica Peak Forest Park

The Japlenica Peak Forest Park, sitting at 842 metres above sea level and measuring a surface area of 170 hectares, is an elevation located right by Delnice from the west. Here, the protected nature easily extends to the town centre through Delnice’s King Tomislav Park, making for an excellent natural shade, especially during warm summer days. Numerous trails, promenades and paths are great for sports, recreation, altitude training, visits to deer hunting grounds or simple walks in nature.

The north-eastern slope of the Japlenica peak is home to an old, 70-metre-high ski jump landing at the town stadium. From the 1950s to the late 1970s, ski jumping competitions were regularly held there.

Explore stunning landscapes, breathe fresh air, visit castles, stay in charming cottages, and savor authentic, nature-inspired cuisine.
