Čabranka is a small mountain rapid and a 17.5-kilometre-long tributary of the Kupa river. It emerges at the end of the deep and narrow edge of the Kupa river valley, from crevices in steep rocks of the Veliki Obrh mountain (sitting at 546 metres above sea level). From its mountain source and many cascades and rapids to its mouth flowing into Kupa, the river stuns with its beauty.

Čabranka is full of salmonids, making it a hot spot for recreational fishing, as well as for other activities such as kayaking or cycling and hiking along the river bank.
