The Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows in the Ličko Polje field has been a pilgrimage site since 1606, visited by those in search of prayer and healing. According to local tradition, Virgin Mary appeared here in the 17th century and since then, the Shrine radiates spiritual peace, calming energy and sanctity.

Thousands of pilgrims make their way to the site, and the main annual festivity takes place on 5 August, during the blessing of pilgrims and vehicles.
