If you would like to enjoy the fresh air and the serenity of the vast expanse of coniferous forests of the Ravna Gora area, this route is the perfect choice. Starting from the centre of Ravna Gora, take the asphalt road to the Za Jasen Hunting Lodge, after which you will follow a gravel path to the Begova Cisterna area, then turn right for an ascent to Begovo Razdolje.

At the 14.5-kilometre mark, you will come across a crossing, where the gravel path would take you left toward Croatia’s highest settlement. Instead, turn right to start your descent to Stari Laz. Having reached the Caroline road, turn right for another short ascent to the finish line in Ravna Gora.
