Route statistics
Starting from Crni Lug, this trail leads you toward Bijela Vodica and the main entrance of the Risnjak National Park. On a surface area of only 6.4 hectares, you will come across rich flora and fauna. The trail climbs uphill via the road above Leska, reaching almost 1000 metres above sea level. Cycling through the dense and lush greenery of Gorski Kotar forests is a remarkably rewarding experience.
Afterwards, the trail takes you on around a 4-kilometre ride on the main road to Prezid. After reaching the Željezna Vrata ruins area, turn onto the gravel path descending to the villages of Krašićevica, Razloški Okrug and Biljevina (located near the source of the Kupa river). The only part left is a gentle ascent to Malo Selo and the return to Crni Lug.
