Start your ride down this scenic cycling trail on the Trg goranskih šumara i drvara (Gorski Kotar Foresters’ and Luggers’ Square), then pass through the Supilova Street and by the Sports Hall to get to an asphalt road, which will take you to the Petehovac Mountain Lodge through a railway tunnel. An easy, but continuous ascent will lead you to Štimac peak (at 1024 metres above sea level), which is both a popular summer and winter holiday destination with an eatery. At the nearby viewpoint, you will be treated to the most beautiful view of the town of Delnice, the Delnice valley, the peaks of the north-western Dinaric Alps – the Croatian Risnjak and the Slovenian Snežnik – and, in good weather, even the Slovenian Alps.

After a break on Petehovac, return to the Polane area, a weekend village surrounded by vast hayfields. Taking a gravel path around the Mali Petehovac peak, you will be able to descend down the western cliff back to Delnice.
