The ride starts at the INA petrol station. The road goes through the tunnel towards the Petehovac Mountain Centre. After 2.5 km we turn left onto the macadam road and ride along the motorway to Dedin. Here starts an ascent to Polane Hunting Lodge. The asphalt road takes you through numerous holiday houses to Štimčev vrh (1024 m) where you will find a restaurant and a popular excursion point.
The nearby viewpoint offers the most beautiful view of the town of Delnice, the Delnice Valley and the peaks of the northwest Dinarides – Risnjak and Slovenian Snežnik, and in clear weather, even the Slovenian Alps. After a break at Petehovac, we descend via the western ridge back to Delnice.
