From the centre of Lokve we head towards Sopač and stop at Lokvarka Cave, the second largest cave in Croatia whose interior can be explored up to 70 meters below ground level. The cave abounds in various forms of calcite crystals in several galleries. After exploring the underworld, we head towards Brestova Draga and fajeri – the remains of the viaduct on the historic Karolina road. Then follows a descent to Slavica and Belo Selo. Make sure to stop in the Mountain Garden on the Karolina road and try the most delicious blueberries, raspberries and strawberries.

This will give you the strength to continue to the Roswell Cowboy Village with buildings typical for the Wild West – saloon, sheriff’s office, beer house etc. A trilogy about the Indian chief Winnetou was filmed here.
